SMS Text Program FAQ
Our text messaging services keep you up-to-date with your prescriptions. A refill reminder text will help you manage medications by sending you a notification to remind you that your prescription is due for refill a few days before the medication is expected to run out. A pickup notification text message will let you know when your prescription is ready for pickup.
All of our existing patients are eligible to enroll in the program; however, only patients with a mobile number in their profile will be able to receive SMS text messages. If you would like to participate in the program and have already provided your mobile number, no action is required. If you would like to participate in the program and have not provided or unsure if you have provided your mobile number, speak to our pharmacy team
Refill Reminders will be sent prior to your prescription running out based on an algorithm set in our Pharmacy Management System. Pick-up notifications will be sent as soon as your prescription is ready for pick-up
If you are ready to refill your prescription, simply click the link in the text or email and you will be taken to our order page with everything pre-populated and ready to submit.
If you would like to stop receiving text messages, you may:
– Call us to un-enrol and stop receiving text message notifications from the pharmacy
– Visit our pharmacy to un-enrol and stop receiving text message notifications from the pharmacy
Yes, you can enrol as long as you are a guardian or authorized decision maker for the individual you are enrolling in our notification program and have provided consent to the pharmacy.
